Developments on a Pellet Target or "What I've been doing in Uppsala"

A pellet target provides the unique opportunity to reach highest
luminosities at internal experiments, simultaneously enabling a 4pi
detector to surround the interaction point. Such a target is used at
WASA and will be employed at Lanzhou and FAIR/PANDA. The Pellet Test
Station at TSL has been used to perform dedicated studies and
developments on such a system. I will discuss the basic features of
such a target and show some of the results obtained during the last
two years.
