Sounding the bell occasionally causes the keyboard to stop working.
The mouse continues to function normally.

This is a known bug in the 2.4.0 release.  It is caused by the terminal
bell and the network activity LED being activated simultaneously.  To
correct the problem, upgrade to version 2.4.7 or later, or change LED
#1 to indicate a state other than network activity.
