If a customer has problem with reversed or
mismapped keys, a common problem is incorrect 
values for these NCD config parameters:

	2.x: keyboard-type

	3.x: xserver-keyboard-narrow-keysym-tables
	3.x: xserver-keyboard-type 

Or, the keyboard type may be set wrong in NVRAM.

A good debug tool is to:

	rename the NCD remote config files
	so that the NCD cannot read a config
	file at boot time:

		mv ncd_std ncd_std.old
		mv hexfile hexfile.old

	reset nvram to factory defaults:

		> nv
		>> l
		>> s
		are your sure? y
		> q

	boot the ncd by hand with the bt command:

		bt bootfile ipncd iphost ipgate ipmask

	login to the host through a local telnet session
	and verify that the keys are correct

	login to the host through xdm and verify that the
	keys are correct

For Exploras with N-101MPS keyboards (and possibly others), change the
keyboard type to IBM PS/2 in the setup menus and/or edit the config file:
	xserver-keyboard-type = ibm-ps/2
Note that this parameter takes effect at the next boot.
