For a NIM based clone installation most things are already in place and well configured (which is the idea behind cloning). In this case, consider the following as a check list. Note that local customizations should into the /usr/local/ directory for a "standalone" machine, i.e. one which doesn't use /usr/local/ as a mount point, whereas all others should use /local/ for local stuff.
