Vuit is a DEC product.  It is an interface builder.
It means "view it". 

To run vuit:

From your tcp/ip connection on your X terminal
get a LAT connection to your VMS host and login.

Set the display to your X terminal (in the example 
we used "ncdu323")

$ set display/node=ncdu323/transport=tcpip/create
$ vuit

With 3.2.1 ncdware, vuit should come up.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS.
  It may be the following setting on your user preferences
menu. 
 Setup -> Change User Preferences -> X, Graphics and SIE
 -> Screen Resolution (dots per inch)  set this to
  between 61 and 104. If this setting is outside of this
  range then you may get the following string of error
  messages.

$ vuit

  There is something quite deceptive about Vuit and that
is that it will work on the 2.4 release but not in the 
3.2.1 release.  This could lead one to believe that this
problem is the classic permit old x bugs compatiblity issue,
but it is not.
