Signs Tech Data Corporation as First National Distributor of WinView
for Networks and Forms Authorized Reseller Program

CORAL SPRINGS, FL -- DECEMBER 16, 1993 -- Citrix Systems, Inc.  today
announced the signing of Tech Data Corporation as its first national
distributor.  Under the agreement, Tech Data will stock the WinView for
Networks and NetWare Access Services applicat ion server products in all of
its regional warehouses in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

networking software product line," said Elio Levy, director of marketing for
Tech Data's networking division.  "Application server software represents an
emerging technology poised for explosive growth as Corporate America continues
to rightsize, mobilize and adopt next-generation Windows platforms, while

The national distribution agreement with Tech Data follows the formation of
Citrix's Authorized Reseller Program, a comprehensive plan designed to provide
ongoing marketing, sales and technical support to resellers.

our resellers more effectively serve their customers and enhance their
competitive edge in the explo sive remote computing software marketplace."

Citrix's Authorized Reseller Program targets Novell Platinum and Gold
resellers.  These resellers have shown their commitment to Citrix technology
by sending a minimum of one engineer to training and maintaining demonstration
software at their facilities.  Program benefits for Citrix Authorized
Resellers are marketing, sales and technical support.

Marketing programs include lead generation, joint seminars, sales promotions,
product bundles, and merchandising campaigns.  Sales programs encompass sales
training and field sales participation.  Technical services extended to Citrix
Authorized Resellers include technical training, systems engineering support,
and one year of free product support.  Citrix Systems currently has over 200

WinView for Networks application server software provides high-performance
remote access for Windows, DOS and OS/2 applications.  As a result, multiple
network users can simultaneously access the WinView application server,
regardless of the type of PC ha rdware used or whether it is local or remote
from the network.  The recently-acquired NetWare Access Services product
complements WinView for Networks by providing support for Macintosh clients
and DOS graphics.
