******************************************************************************* The trigger timing, defined as the time elapsed between the passage of the particle or the laser beam through the TPC and the First Level Trigger (FLT), is different for the physics and laser events. Thus, before one can directly compare these events, a correction is needed. The correction dt needs to be subtracted from the drift times measured in the laser events. The correction dt is around 350 ns, i.e. somewhat more than one time bin, and unfortunately depends on the laser settings (V and d). Below I list the dt values in ns for the most important laser runs in 2000.
