Properties of the Reference Particle

The characteristic parameters of the reference particle are defined by the command: 6 R(EFERENCE) P(ARTICLE) <energy K in MeV> <rest mass m₀₀ in atomic mass units, i.e. 1/12 of a ¹²C> <charge $\overline{q}e$ in charge units e, where -e is the charge of one electron> ; [example: R   P   100   4   1 ;] [R   P   1   1   1 ;]

The charge of the particle is always assumed to be positive.
