Sub-systems¶

The list of sub-systems and their respective documentation is a work in progress.
Each sub-system contains a collection of EPICS IOCs, each in control of a certain device and aspect of the sub-system.
FRS / SuperFRS¶

R3B¶
The R3B sub-system is organised into detector specific sub-systems:
- Neuland
- CALIFA
- GLAD
- Tracking
- Active Target
- High-resolution spectrometer
Each of these sub-systems can be operated independent from each other. These sub-systems each are operated using several hardware components, which are controlled and monitored individually. Subsystem Status shows the current status of the implementation of these sub-systems.
In addition, R3B started development of R3B common systems as part of NUSTAR central services, which provides functionality that can be commonly used by all other sub-systems.
