Indigo2 specific notes(Under construction)

PrevUp

Not yet much to say here about my Indigo2. Since I don't have a strong background in Silicon Graphics machines or Irix for that matter, it is sort of a stepchild in my collection, so far. I got it in late autumn 2004 via eBay, not really a bargain, but the seller was so kind to deliver it personally. The box still had the OS on it, so I could immediately play with it. Quite snappy, though strange (if one's accustomed to CDE, DECwindows etc.). I put some more RAM into it, as well as a CD-ROM drive. Still quite some customization necessary to make the box a full member of my UNIX collection.

Max RAM officially is 784MB, but could be 1GB: (web), (local).
