Ultra 5 specific notes

PrevUp

The Ultra 5 was the first Sun box I got, I think it was in 2004. Pretty expensive by today's standards. Used it to take my first steps into the Solaris environment.
To me the Ultra 5 appeared as sort of PC in disguise, mainly due to its IDE bus. So about the first upgrade was a SCSI host adapter. Later on I added some more RAM as well. Since I have only little background in Sun and Solaris, there's still a lot to do to make this box a fully usable machine.
