radii scan for 3LCL with cut

Likelihood separation as a function of the lens parameters for different polar angles of the prototype.

  • 2017 prototype setup (plate +3-layer cylindrical lens +45 degree prism)
  • realistic beam profile
  • pions and protons @ 7 GeV/c
  • time-imaging reconstruction with full-simulated pdfs
  • time=[0,40] ns
  • r1 and r2 are the radii of inner and outer surface of the NLak-33 layer
  • azimuth angle of the Cherenkov photons is selected to be < 0.15 rad along radiator
